Day 82 Bourne Scallop Festival
The 42nd Annual Bourne Scallop Fest will be taking place this upcoming weekend , on September 23, 24 & 25, from 10am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 6pm on Sunday. The Bourne Scallop festival has been named one of the best festivals on Cape Cod! You don’t want to miss it!
Families will see spectacular views, listen to non-stop entertainment, have fun at the midway carnival of rides for the kids, and enjoy the best scallops around. In addition to over 6,000 lbs. of scallops that will be consumed, people have plenty of other choices including herb-roasted chicken, lobster rolls, chowder, salads, raw bar, hamburgers, hotdogs, specialty coffees, desserts, and much more. Beer is being provided by L. Knife & Sons – Anheuser Busch and wine is being provided by the following wineries Chandon, Casa Lapostolle, Martin Códax and Terrazas de los Andes.
-The scallop festival will have superb local headliners; Ernie and the Automatics, Friday night at 7:30PM and Marston Mills American Idol Siobhan Magnus, Saturday night at 8PM. Friday night only, Rockwell Amusement is offering a “Wrist Band Night” for the carnival rides . Families can purchase a $22 “wrist band” per child and ride all the rides from Friday at 3pm to close at 10pm using the wristband. A great deal for the family!
General Admission is only $5 – children 12 and under admitted FREE. FREE parking is available.
