Day 130 The Baltimore Waltz Play at Cape Rep Theater in Brewster MA
The Cape Rep indoor theater of Brewster MA will be performing the Baltimore Waltz play by Pultizer Prize winner American playwright Paula Vogel. The play will be performed from June 21st to July 21st. It is a great way to spend a summer evening on Cape Cod.
The Baltimore Waltz hits the brother and sister relationship with grace and edge. Anna– Diagnosed with terminal “Acquired Toilet Disease,” a first grade teacher from Baltimore embarks on a madcap trip through France, Germany, Holland and Austria with her beloved brother. She aims to taste all of life’s sensual pleasures; he wants her to undergo a whacky alternative medical cure in Austria. Writing this Obie Award winning play, Paula Vogel employs all her brilliant creative tools—comedy, drama, music, her love of movies, art and literature—to come to terms with a profound personal tragedy.
