The Roadhouse Café Restaurant is located in Hyannis MA is recognized as one of Cape Cod’s premiere restaurants. The restaurant is opened year-round and opens daily at 4:00 PM and offers “early bird” specials till 6:00 PM.
When you arrive you will be greeted by convenient valet parking. Entering into the immaculate and warm atmosphere, which is tastefully decorated with wonderful antiques and oriental rugs, one feels surrounded by a classy yet casual sensation. The lounge is dominated by a custom-made mahogany bar and two of the four dining rooms have working fireplaces which are absolutely wonderful during the colder winter months. . There’s a piano bar in their newest addition, the Backdoor Bistro. A pianist is featured on Friday and Saturday nights and a Monday Night Jazz ensemble weekly with the finest musicians on the East Coast. During the warm summer months , there is entertainment five nights a week.
The dinner menu offers native seafood, including seafood specialist including blackened poached salmon steak, choice beef, pasta dinners and Italian specialties. For those looking for lighter fare, the Bistro offers both the regular dinner menu and the bistro menu which consists of salads, sandwiches and authentic Italian thin crust pizza.
The wine list includes twenty wines by the glass and the impressive beer list features approximately 30 different beers. To finish off the perfect meal, there is a delectable choice of homemade-on-the-premise desserts, which change according to the seasons. Cappuccino, espresso or after dinner cordials can be paired quite nicely with the desserts.

We had dinner at the Roadhouse Cafe in Hyannis last night. We sat at the bar which is in the back of the restaurant. It was smallish but very cozy. Our bartender, Katie, was awesome….helpful, friendly and attentive. I ordered the risotto special. It had tomato and spinach in it. It was fantastic. I loved it! If I ha to choose a last meal, this would be it! So flavorful and delicious. I am posting a pic but it was after I ate half of it ? . I had the Italian rum punch too which was really good. My husband had buffalo wings for an app which he really liked and ordered the fried chicken special which he also liked. He said how moist the chicken was. I loved the restaurant and food. I highly recommend the place.
My Aunt and I dined last night. The Baked stuffed Lobster was AMAZING!!! Our server Cory was fantastic! Will definitely be back. BRAVO!!
We tried Roadhouse Cafe for the first time Friday night in July! we made reservations a large group which I would highly recommend it was busy and the wait was long as we were leaving. Our waiter fantastic, friendly and prompt. The food was beyond good and cooked to perfection. I had the divers scallops which could be the best scallops I’ve ever eaten. My counterparts had lobster ravioli , strip steak , tuna steak, sirloin tips , lobster tails the rest were kids meals with no complaints. We will definitely be returning.
Visiting the cape and decided to give this place a try cause I’ve heard great things, and man was it awesome! It was a pretty busy Thursday evening so my friend and I thought we would take a seat at the bar. Our bartender was the BEST. She treated us like family, and it was so refreshing to have such good service as a few places on cape have let me down lately. She told us all about the menu, made great food suggestions, and crafted us up some cocktails that were to die for all while working the bar by herself! The pizza I had was so tasty, cooked to perfection with great flavor. The Roadhouse Mule was a fun twist on a classic favorite. Will definitely be returning here and telling all my friends to check out this bar! Thanks Roadhouse for an amazing night on cape!
