Friendly staff, good variety in menu, fresh and delicious food, great ambiance and choice of indoor/outdoor dining – everything you could ask for. Had a pleasant dining experience overall.
I could eat there every day!! Love this place! My favorite is their lemon shallot dressing on the Cobb Salad. Their “Pilgrim” sandwich is fabulous too. Also addicted to their special ice tea. Yum!
Exceedingly Excellent!! What a fabulous Cape Cod find! Phenomenally good food (huge Asian salad), and the cookies are to die for, as we used to say. Best of all, the Iowa hospitality and Iowa memorabilia struck a chord with my heartstrings:-) Co-owner Tobin is just a delight.. The setting is perfect inside and out. Wish I had taken time to take more pictures, but I’ll be back for sure next time (and every time) I get to the Cape..
You might think it crazy of me to say a restaurant could change a town for the better, but Cafe Chew has done that. Its vibe appeals to people of all ages and every customer is treated like they are important! Details such as this makes it stand apart: Local farm fresh eggs are used – appealing to the foodies, those who support local economies, and the vegetarians who know those chickens were treated well! A place for intergenerational connection, fabulous food, unbeatable customer service, and a little piece of suburban chic in a quaint seaside village. I’ll take one of everything!
Delicious products- you won’t be disappointed!!! Beyond that they have an amazing setting with lots of warm wood and windows to sit near as you eat. Or you can sit outside at one of many tables with your dog! But I have to say my favorite part about this place is the fact that the kitchen is open and visible from the dining area… This implies that they are clean and professional when preparing your food because they don’t hide any of it.
I will be a loyal customer to the Chew and so should you!
