The Shark Center Chatham at the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy is open Thursdays Through Saturdays 10 am To 3 pm. The last Admission Is 2 Pm Each Day during the warmer months.
Shark Center offers an in-depth look at one of the ocean’s most magnificent and misunderstood species: the Great White Shark! Through interactive exhibits, videos, and displays, the center offers many ways to learn about groundbreaking research and one of Cape Cod’s most captivating summer residents. The Shark Center caters to all shark-enthusiasts – making a visit the perfect activity for kids – rainy days included!

Saturday Storytimes
Join the AWSC Education Team for Shark Story Time at the Shark Center Chatham! This program is intended for children from ages 3 to 6. The program will start with the reading of a picture book (shark themed!), followed by shark themed song and movement time and a shark activity. The program will be 45 minutes in length.
When purchasing a ticket, please know that children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are required for all children and adults.
Is your facility family friendly?
We have designed the space to engage visitors of all ages. We have some exhibits/ concepts that are designed to engage youth, as well as other content to provide an enriching experience for adults
Do you have a gift shop?
Yes! Support white shark research and education by shopping our gift shop. Proceeds from our gift shop directly support the non-profit organization.
Are you an aquarium?
No, we are not an aquarium. We recommend families go to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History or visit one of the conservation areas to view wildlife.

Please know that our Shark Center Chatham facility operates year round, whereas Provincetown is seasonal from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Our community and education programs are based out of the Chatham facility.
