Small Business Saturday • November 28th
Help make a lasting impact in the place you call home on Small Business Saturday®.
Founded by American Express in 2010, it’s a day to celebrate the local businesses
that make your neighborhood great. Now it is your turn to show them your support
and appreciation by stopping in on November 28th.
Sweet Sandwich Cookie Stroll • Saturday, Nov 28th
Town wide cookie stroll. Savor the local flavor- participating businesses
will pass out their favorite holiday cookies

Lighting of the Littlest Christmas Tree • Sunday, Nov 29th • 5 pm
Shawme Pond – Family free event. Feel the magic of the Thornton Burgess story as the
little tree in the pond lights up for the first time this season. Sponsored by the American
Legion Post 188 of Sandwich.
Community Carol Sing • Friday, Dec 4th (rain/snow date Sunday, Dec 6th)
Gather at the steps of the First Church of Christ at 7 p.m. for the annual Carol Sing
followed by cider and cookies, compliments of the Dan’l Webster Inn. Refreshments
will be located at the Dan’l Webster Inn, 149 Main Street, Sandwich.
Holly Days Home Tour • Sunday, Dec, 6th • Noon – 4 pm
Experience Sandwich’s long history of community spirit, neighborhood charm
and gracious homes. Celebrate the Holiday Season with us.
• Tour historic Inns and private homes
• Meet and chat with artists and authors
• Enjoy your favorite Christmas songs
• View artifacts discovered at a local archaeological dig site
• Holiday decorating tips from local designers
• Travel on the Trolley with narrator on board

Hand-blown glass commemorative ornaments featuring the 2015
‘Whale Tail’ ornament will be on sale at this location.
After the Home Tour, dine at one of the many Village restaurants
and then visit Gardens Aglow at Heritage Museums & Gardens.
Your wristband ticket for the Home Tour will entitle you to a $3 discount off
