At Bear in Boots, we take gastropub to a new level. Hand crafting each dish and recipe, we believe food should be delicious not pretentious.

We do our own butchering, make our own pastas, breads, ice creams, ketchup and mayonnaise, and mixers for drinks. Working with local farmers, we only pick fresh, in-season selections to creatively utilize our frequently changing menu.

Our selection includes items like Halibut wrapped in potato sheets served with creamed spinach and tomato coulis, a delicious Sauerbraten with Herbed Spaetzle, or our ever popular fried chicken with mashed potatoes, biscuits, and gravy. Though our creations are constantly rotating and evolving, we always have something special and mouth-watering for everyone.

At Bear in Boots, not only do we have 18 local beers on tap to make you feel comfortable, we also have a great, relaxing ambiance for you to dine in. With an open kitchen, witness your meal come to life in front of the restaurant.

Additionally, we have skilled piano and guitar artists playing in our unique entertainment area overhead while you dine and enjoy the company of those around you.

With house made creations down to the ketchup served with our personally crafted menu, to the warm and comfortable dining area we’ve created- we welcome you in and look forward to serving you soon!

Here are some of the reviews

Tonight was my first time at Bear and Boots! I’m mad at myself for waiting so long to try such delicious food. Chef Joe did an exquisite job! He got me to try pate for the first time. It was fantastic. Thank you for several amazing dishes!

Exquisite! Tonight was my first dining experience at Bear in Boots, and I know now it was only the first of, if I am lucky – MANY! 4 courses of outstanding delicacies unmatched by anywhere else on cape! Everything was expertly prepared and the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive! From the hostess, to the waitstaff, to the chef, with whom we had the pleasure of chatting with throughout the evening, each one made us feel as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. A real treasure right here in Falmouth! I can not wait until I return

One of the best restaurants we’ve even been to. From the beautifully rustic, home like decor, friendly staff, delicious drinks and incredible food we were impressed. We went early as we had a toddler with us but even on the off season it filled up pretty quickly. I did the prie fixe – salad, steak tips, Belgian waffle. Salad was standard, homemade vinaigrette was very good. Steak tips are marinated in stout and so tender and flavorful. French fries were homemade and perfectly golden. I had never had a Belgian waffle as a dessert but of course it makes sense. It is served with chocolate ganache and whipped cream. Ahhhh incredible.

The restaurant was really cozy. I had the poutine, table pretzel, and the marinated steak tips. The poutine was good. The duck confit was a nice touch, but I didn’t think added to the poutine. The pretzel was good. The cheddar sauce was great, and the honey mustard was good. The steak tips and the sauce with it were delicious. I asked for medium, but I felt the steak was more well-done. The sauce was absolutely amazing, and the marinade was great!
