Here are some of the reviews
We had the most delicious seafood dinners there ever!! I had the salmon special and my sister had the halibut special and both just melted in our mouths! For appetizer we split the mediterranean platter which was also refreshingly light and tasty. Great seasoned bread and soft butter at every table and the waiter, Peter, couldn’t have done more to make the meal spectacular!
We will definitely go back again and again, as this is the best meal we’ve ever had in Chatham, and we’ve been coming here for many, many years…..as they say, ‘try it, you’ll like it’!
Best of Chatham. My wife and I have been eating here for 20 summers now, even before we tied the knot. Date nights, family dinners, sitting at the bar for an impromptu dinner with my bride, whatever the occasion there is always time for The Impudent Oyster. Be sure to start your meal with the Oysters Rockefeller.
This little restaurant off Main Street was a big surprise. The mussels were cooked to perfection, no grit or sand, and how they made a simple Caesar salad with shrimp so delicious, I don’t know. I’ll definitely be back!
We had dinner there last night, and I ordered the Low Country Shrimp & Scallops. It was so delicious, but I noticed it did not have the pickled okra in it as described in the menu. I mentioned it to our server, Jeremy, that they must have substituted asparagus for the okra. Told him I was from the South (Mississippi) & loved okra. Found out Jeremy was from Memphis, TN, only a short distance from my hometown in Mississippi. Had a brief discussion about okra, fried & pickled! Jeremy was very courteous & friendly. We arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation & they were able to seat us early. This is our second visit there & we look forward to returning.
we have eaten everywhere from clam shacks to five star restaurants. Our dinner two evenings ago – and during the busiest week of the summer season – was better than OUTSTANDING!
From how lovely our reservation was handled when I called four days prior and snagged the last one, the wonderful wait staff – attentive helpful & fun – and the food = amazing!! The four of us each had different dishes, all wonderful and unique + the fish seafood soooo fresh. Portions are big too. Try one of their original bar drinks and even if you’re full, squeeze in dessert (share!)
Definitely the BEST restaurant in this area, and I say the Cape! Reservations in-season are ‘ a must ‘ and made days in advance. Do not miss dining at “The Oyster”!!
