Old Home Week has returned to Centerville with all your old favorite activities and a few new ones thrown in. Thank you to the Centerville Civic Association for organizing all of these events
A weeklong series of events to celebrate our community
Centerville is one of the seven villages in the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Located on the South Side of Barnstable, Centerville is primarily residential, and includes a small business district as well as several notable beaches.
August 5-10, 2024
First started in 1904, this is the traditional weeklong celebration of Centerville. Each day features a different event designed to foster community, welcome guests, and celebrate with our neighbors. Many events are free although donations to the Families in Need Fund are welcomed. Visit this space for updates on the daily schedule.

2024 Old Home Week Schedule of Events
Monday August 5th Family Ice Cream Social and Activities
at the Centerville Elementary School from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Tuesday August 6th Strawberry Shortcake Social and Annual Meeting hosted by Centerville Civic Association at the Centerville Library from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Barnstable town leaders will provide an update on local events.
Wednesday August 7th Hyannis Sound Concert, Cape Cod’s finest a cappella group at Our Lady of Victory Parish Hall from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Tickets $15 per person / $10 for students.
Thursday August 8th Circus Friends and Shaved Ice Family Day at the Centerville Library from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Music by Centerville’s Mike Dumas Band at Lambert’s Market starting at 7pm to 9pm. Bring a beach chair and join the dance party in the parking lot of Lambert’s Market!
Saturday August 10th 4th Annual Antique and Vintage Car Show and Vendor Fairs on Main Street Centerville starting at 9am until 2pm.
Music by the Moonlighters and Bonfire at Craigville Beach starting at 6pm to 8:00pm. Bring a picnic and join the dance party on the beach!
