Cape Cod Halloween Fun Guide 2024

Sharing is caring!

It’s that time of year when all things creepy and crawly come out to play. Don’t be left out of the fun! From terrifying tours to kid-friendly costume parades, Cape Cod is the place to be this Halloween season.

Barnstable Village’s Haunted & History Walking Tour Fridays and Mondays Join founder, Derek Bartlett tonight, as your tour guide for Barnstable Village’s Ghost Hunters Tour at 7pm. He will bring you down The King’s Road and stop at locations such as The Barnstable House that has a nickname The House of 11 Ghosts, The Hedge House and many, many more locations. You will enter Cobb’s Hill Cemetery and listen to the stories and then be handed a digital voice recorder and he will teach you how to collect EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon/voices of the dead) where you then will walk the cemetery to try to capture evidence yourself. You will then be brought into The Oldest Wooden Jail in America, that is actively haunted. The village has over 6 children entities that haunt locations throughout our tour. This is a 3hr tour and about a 1 mile walk.  Tour starts at the Coast Guard Heritage Museum 3353 Main St (Rt6A) Barnstable. If you would like more information or to reserve your spot call 508-241-1151

We hope you survive the experience!  Groups will enter every 10 to 15 minutes to go through a tour of the Academy unlike any other before.

If you have kids and been meaning to get to church, this is a GREAT Sunday to come. We’ll have Family School teachers in Jenkins offering childcare, and lots of fun after church with a DJ, prizes, costumes, and candy!

And if you don’t have kids, what a fun Sunday to come and enjoy the merriment of having little ones in church.

We’re also looking for people to participate in the “trunk or treat” by bringing candy & decorating your trunk to pass out. If that’s something you’d like to do – get in touch with Reed or Christie.

All are welcome to come in costume, or if dressing like a parishioner is better for you that’s great too. Oct 27, 10am – be there!
