Jack’s Outback Restaurant in Yarmouth Port

Sharing is caring!

Jack’s Outback  restaurant in Yarmouth port that serves both breakfast and lunch.   This place has great  breakfast food : terrific omelets (including a lobster one ), good corn beef hash  poached eggs,  pancakes and waffles, a good breakfast steak, and so on. They  also have  popovers as an alternative to toast.  The dining area  is a  big airy barn of a space, with some counter seating up front, lots of tables in the back.

Jack's Outback Restaurant in Yarmouth Port Cape Cod Breakfast

The place is hidden off the road so it is not well know to the Cape Cod tourists, it is mostly a local place.   You will be greeted by Jack” the golden retriever dog  outside with a wagging tale.  Bring cash, they don’t accept credit cards.

Here are some of the reviews

Wow, is it possible to give 10 stars? The food was excellent. The service was so personal. We came here because we love Golden Retreivers and they have two of them that hang out looking for some affection. The owner, Donna sat down at our table to say hi. She asked me what I was going to order? I said I think I’m going to get the Rueben. She said what meat? I couldn’t decide. So she went to the kitchen and brought out some pastrami and brisket. I went with the brisket. First time because I normally don’t like fatty meat but wow the brisket was so tender and tasty. We live in Dedham but will definitely make the trip to Jacks.

I have never been before but the moment we pulled in the driveway I could see it would be a fun place. We were greeted not by Jack but a female offspring of his I think right at the car who escorted us to the door. The atmosphere and aesthetics inside are so homey. I’m waiting for the food but based on what I read and the introduction I’m certain we will be back.

A must visit if you’re out on the Cape for a stay. A favorite of the locals for years. The staff super friendly and helpful. The dogs are there to greet you like you’re coming home!

The breakfast was excellent!!! Jack’s Outback ll is almost a hidden establishment. The most unusual item they make there is popovers. There were dozens waiting to be eaten. The popovers were scrumptious!

One of the best breakfast places on the Cape… Incredible menu of both traditional and unique breakfast options featuring organic eggs! They have everything from endless omelette options, homemade quiche and fresh from the oven pop-overs. My favorite is the autumn omelette featuring bacon, apple and bleu cheese! Like most Cape breakfast places, there will be a wait most mornings, but this place gives you free coffee AND coffee cake while you wait… Absolutely worth waiting! …and the staff is great – friendly and efficient. Don’t forget to pat the two precious puppies that are always greeting guests outside the front door! Best way to start a great day
