The Lighting of the Lobster Pot Tree will be held on Saturday evening November 29th at 5:30pm at Lopes Square in Provincetown MA
Made from 100+ lobster pots stacked over 2 stories high and decorated with ribbons, garland and thousands of festive lights, artist Julian Popko’s lobster pot Christmas tree will put you in the Holiday mood for sure!
We will raise the giant buoy tree topper around 5:30pm, and offer free hot cocoa & cookies, so bring your friends & family! Please join us for singing and LOTS OF CHEER!
The Lobster Pot Christmas Tree is an Annual Holiday Tradition in Provincetown, MA. Local lobstermen share over 100 lobster traps for the 2 story, family built and lovingly decorated “Tree”. It was started by Julian Popko in 2004 and is proud to celebrate its 10th year in the heart of Provincetown. Thank you to everyone who has made this a festive and welcome addition to our winter by the sea!
