Hyannis Spring on Main Festival 2015

The Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District (HMSBID) invites everyone to take part in the 3rd Annual Spring on Main Festival on Saturday, May 2 from 12pm – 4pm. 

Come and welcome spring at this free, family-friendly event which will feature local bands, singers, and artists all along Main Street and on the Village Green.
Some of this year’s highlights include performers Christina Lucci, Just Plain Folk, Keltic Kids on the Cape, The Common Ground Singers and local student performers Bella McAllister, Maddy Lamothe, Sturgis Public Charter School A Cappella Groups, Barnstable Intermediate School’s Rockapella and M. E. Small Elementary School’s Dolphin Ukulele Ensemble. The JFK Museum and Hyannis Public Library will host art exhibits from the Barnstable Intermediate School students.
Artists include Nancy Lyon, Nez, Rick Hamelin “The Pied Potter”, Kathleen Kortis fiber artist, and more.
Kids can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, balloons, carnival games, face painting, magic show, balloon twister, craft activities and more! Everyone is invited to create their own chalk art with chalk available along the street.
The 3rd Annual Spring on Main Fashion Show will take place at Torino Restaurant & Bar from 2:30pm – 4pm. 106.1 WCOD will be on hand as local models showcase Spring fashions from Main Street stores. Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit Celebrations, the safe after-prom party for Barnstable High School. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults. Tickets are available for purchase by calling 508-775-7982 and will be sold at the door.
