Want to spend a fun day with the kids down the Cape, you will need to visit Cape Cod Zooquarium in West Yarmouth, MA. It is a combination zoo and aquarium-pretty cool idea! Kids will love being able to get up close with the animals!
Petting Zoo
You can get an up close look at the friendly animals in the farmyard and discover how they came to be such an important part of the human life.
They have goats and deer and don’t forget to bring a quarter so you can feed these friendly animals. They will eat right from your hand! They have a native animals area.
Aquarium
Now you can come up-close to the wonderful creatures that inhabit our waters. Come and see the many tanks which hold everything from our Cape Cod waters from Stripers to Lobsters, Frogs to Turtles.
They also have a tidal pool where you can actually touch the critters that inhabit our shoreline. The pool is home to a variety of interesting creatures that change throughout the year. You may see hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs, mussels, sea stars, urchins, clams, fiddler crabs and more.
