The Dresser Play at Provincetown Theater
Provincetown Theater will be performing The Dresser Opening Wed April 6 at 7:30, then running Thurs-Sat at 7:30 and Sundays at 2pm through April 24th.
The New York Times described Ronald Harwood’s “The Dresser” as being full of “perfectly observed, devilishly entertaining backstage lore”. “The Dresser” chronicles the end times of England’s once grand touring companies, revealing the shabby egos behind the glamour of the stage. The dedication of the company’s dresser holds the show together despite its senile leading actor (who struggles to bring King Lear to the stage). The show must go on….despite Hitler’s bombing of the English countryside! Anthony Jackman will direct.
Adults: $25.00
Seniors: $20.00
