I grew up in Orleans and have dined at the claw quite a few times over the years and the food just keeps getting better every time. The owner is always anxious as the host to make sure mine and other guests experience at his restaurant are pleased beyond our satisfaction. I never say no to the Lobster Claw!
We have been in Orleans for a Family Reunion and this was our big group dinner out. We could not be happier! The food was excellent, the service was superb (thank you Lily!) and the owner chatted with us for quite some time full of knowledge and humor. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone

Not bad at all. I do think that it would be great to use some cajun seasoning on the fries just for taste, but the fried lobster was very good.

I recommend the shrimp cocktail, fried lobster and the lobster newburg.Love the early bird special. Favorites include broiled scallops or fried lobster. However, their grape nut custard is the best!

Went into the Lobster Claw on a Sunday night for dinner and all I can say was what a great idea! This place is very unique, lobster traps and cute blue booths make up a great decor that is warm and inviting We started off with Oysters, Little Necks and Steamers and they were all very large portions, fresh and delicious. The drawn butter was endless and the wine was tasty. I ended up getting a Boiled Lobster which was very big and super fresh! My friends got the Fisherman’s Platter which was too big to finish. Also, a Lobster salad sandwich which was plentiful and scrumptious 🙂
