Day 100 Singing Trooper Benefit Concert in Eastham MA
Dan Clark, “The Singing Trooper,” will perform a benefit concert Sunday, Nov. 6 at Nauset Regional High School in Eastham. It is a fundraiser for Cape Abilities. a Cape Cod non profit organization supporting people with disabilities.
Sgt. Daniel M. Clark, known as “The Singing Trooper” performed in uniform while representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts during his 20 year career. During this tenure with the State Police he performed at more than 2,500 events for Federal, State, Local, and Military functions. In addition he performed 26 foreign National Anthems, in native dialect, for visiting dignitaries and sporting events. In addition, for 5 years he could be heard on “Radio Disney” as “Trooper Dan”promoting safety for children.
The concert will include patriotic songs, Irish tunes, ballads and Broadway show tunes.
Tickets are $12, $10 for senior citizens and $8 for students. Tickets will be available at Cape Abilities Consignment & Thrift Shop in Barnstable Village, Cape Abilities Farm to Table in Chatham, the Eastham Superette, Nickerson Service Center and the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank in Eastham, Orleans and Brewster.
