Hyannis Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show 2017
The Rotary Club of Hyannis will host its 59th annual home show, now called the “Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show,” on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19 at Barnstable High School.
This annual spring rite, a favorite of Cape Codders and others throughout the region, will give residents of all ages exhibits and exciting activities, and will give businesses a chance to meet new customers – all while helping Hyannis Rotary Club raise money in its largest annual fundraiser – the proceeds of which are turned back to the community in scholarships and grants.
In multiple sites in and around Barnstable High School, more than 120 exhibitors display products and services for home renovation, landscaping, and lifestyle enhancement. New this year is a “Good Run for Good Works” on Saturday (5K for adults and teens, a half-mile run for kids 7-12, and a 100-meter run for kids 6 and under). Find more details and online registration for the walk/run at www.hyannisrotary.org
More children’s activities are offered this year: the ever-popular face painting returns, and added are craft making and games supervised by Rotarians, as well as the children’s races.
Thousands from throughout the region will attend this year. They can get their soil tested by Cape Cod Master Gardeners; attend flower arranging workshops; inspect scores of home improvement options for indoor and out; enjoy lunch with new healthy options and food trucks; and relax in the school’s cafeteria which will offer plenty of lunch seating along with live music. Raffles for cash prizes and a Costa Rica vacation add to the excitement.
