Ocean House is an upscale restuarant overlooking Nantucket Sound in Dennisport! Zagat award winning restaurant , with great cocktails, a stunning view, and a menu that is definitely something to talk about! You do need to make a reservation via open table or giving them a call.

We recently dined here to celebrate our anniversary. We were only on the Cape for a few days and didn’t realize you had to get reservations so far in advance. We checked Open Table reservations and stumbled upon one for our anniversary night. We got to sit super close to the water view. Our waiter was really nice and informative. We enjoyed filet mignon and the lobster ravioli, both of which we’d order again in a heartbeat. We finished off with the sandwich bag sundae for two and were amazed ! It was so big and tasty. We kept having people come up to us and ask what it was. Great place to visit!
MAKE a reservation! From the moment we sat down to the last sip of coffee, everything was amazing. Cocktails, wine … excellent! We ordered the Vegetable Spring Rolls and would have ordered a second but know from dining here in the past that the entrees and sides are absolutely huge
Don’t skip the beautifully presented bread an in-house crackers with bean spread! Yummy!
The chopped salad is a MEAL unto itself with a very light, flavorful dressing.
The side asparagus, spinach are portioned to share …. you won’t willing do so however!
The CEDAR ROASTED BLACK COD was over the top delicious and beautifully presented.
The attention to detail at the Ocean House is consistent and demonstrates their respect for their diners.
Although we did not order dessert… couldn’t eat another bite once we finished dinner, the desserts are magnificent and “ a work of art”.
In the past I have ordered the Sorbetto and friends have fun with the Sundae for 2!
The OH has a great, fun beach bar so go early and dance your way to digestion after dinner! IF YOU CAN!?!?
Wouldn’t even know where to begin, simply do yourself a favor and make a reservation or two for your visit and every time you go back to the Cape.
The menu changes often enough that you’ll love a new meal, or stick to your favorites each time you visit. If you drink the wine list is a 10 and the fresh cocktails are even better. Honestly, an all around 10.
