We’ve put together a list of some of the things to do, places to visit, and where to eat!
The menu focuses on catch from our local waters and flats combined with the seasonal flavors of New England. That said, we also serve the finest cuts of meat and a very nice burger! This all served by a local, happy and welcoming staff.
Open 5 days for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays
The original structure houses that houses main dining room dates back to 1750. The building was floated across the bay from Billingsgate Island, which is now a mere sandbar visible only at low tide Through the years additions were made to the building as it went from residence to restaurant.
Not surprisingly, the menu features its fair share of oysters (in soup and on the half shell for starters) but owners Kenneth Kozak and Eliza Fitts liven things up with an eclectic new American menu including burgers. They also serve breakfast daily and they have really good prices and the place isn’t super crowded on weekend mornings.

Had two meals there in two days! Brunch was fabulous with cucumber vodka Bloody Mary and the ‘nester’ a gluten free eggs Benedict with arugula and tomato. Then dinner complete with clam chowder, tuna sashimi and scallops with risotto. They have a great cocktail menu as well!
Every summer, we vacation in Wellfleet. The first restaurant we book is The Wicked Oyster. It’s consistent – never has let us down!

Amazing! Great atmosphere..food and service! The beet and chèvre salad was so tasty. I followed that with their mussels and all I can say …is to die for!!! Simple food yet amazing taste
I ate breakfast there every day but Wednesday when they were closed. Their omelets are superb! The prix fixe between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. is an outstanding offering. I had the chowder every time, beet salad twice (I love it) and all three of the fish offerings. I’d be hard pressed to choose a favorite. My absolute favorite Cape restaurant!
The Wicked Oyster has become my favorite restaurant in Wellfleet. The beet salad is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. So yummy!
The Sunday/Monday Prix Fixe menu is wonderful & a great value! The food is always great and a nice atmosphere. The pan-fried sole is TO DIE FOR, with perfectly cooked rice and green beans accompanying it!
