Family Earth Day at Shark Center in Chatham 9am Fun for the whole family! Celebrate Earth Day this year learning about sharks! Their key role in the health of our ecosystem is worth celebrating. We will be discovering the history of sharks by answering how long they have been swimming in our oceans and where they came from, all through looking at the fossil records. Students and guardians will dig through our fossil bins looking at shark teeth and learning the geological timescale of sharks. Parking on the street is recommended as the library lot is quite small and part of the Community Building lot is blocked for the event.
