Are you heading to Cape Cod and want to bring your dog? We have rounded up the best hotels, inn and motels to bring your furry friend. How does it work? It largely depends on your dog and the hotel. Some won’t allow you to leave your dog alone in the room at all, whereas others might ask you to leave them in a crate to prevent them possibly damaging furniture or going to the toilet in the room.
Pet friendly Hotels on Cape Cod
Dan’l Webster Inn and Spa Sandwich
Dan’l Webster Inn and Spa in Sandwich allows two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per night (not to exceed $100 per stay). Only two rooms are dog friendly. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Crated dogs may be left in rooms unattended with the dog sign provided at check in on the door. The hotel provides dog beds and bowls. There is a grassy area with waste bags on the premises.
Red Jacket Beach Resorts Yarmouth
A limited number of rooms at three Red Jacket Resorts, (South Yarmouth) Blue Water Resort (West Yarmouth), Blue Rock Resort (Yarmouth), and Green Harbor Resort (West Yarmouth), are available for guests traveling with dogs under 75 pounds. Please check the availability of our dog-friendly rooms with our reservation staff when you book your stay. Our policy is for dogs only: We kindly ask that you find alternative accommodations for cats, hamsters, reptiles, livestock, and other unique traveling companions. Dogs are not allowed on Red Jacket Resort beaches, and rules for dog access on Town of Yarmouth beaches vary by season
Sea Crest Beach Hotel (Falmouth)
The Seacrest hotel sits on beautiful Old Silver Beach on Cape Cod and allows two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $200 per stay. Guests staying with a dog must stay in a Ground Level Double room type or Fireplace Rooms in either building 1 or 8 Well-behaved dogs may be left unattended in the rooms but recommended to be a crate. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property.
Harbor Hotel Provincetown (Provincetown)
Pets are welcome at the Harbor Hotel Provincetown which has waterfront rooms There is a $43 fee per pet, per night plus tax. Be sure to let us know you are bringing your pet at the time. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended. There are grassy areas for dogs and some nice wooden trails
The Platinum Pebble Boutique Inn (West Harwich)
This adult only Inn does allow dogs. We do a 2 dog friendly room with a private entrance. Our insurance requires restrictions on breeds allowed at the the Inn, so reservations with your dog must be booked by phone. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area or inside the Inn per our insurance. They must be leashed at all times and cannot be left alone in the room. We can send you our dog guidelines and dog waiver upon request.
Surfside Hotel & Suites (Provincetown)
Surfside Hotel & Suites welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $43 per pet, per night. Dogs are given pet treats at check-in and are able to stay in their rooms unattended. The Inn will provide a dog bed and dog treats but they ask you bring a crate. Most beaches in Chatham do not allow dogs during the summer, with some exceptions. If you would like to take a beach walk, we recommend taking your dog for a stroll at Jackknife Harbor, which allows dogs before 9am and after 6pm.
