Day 152 2012 Truro Agricultural Fair
The 2012 Truro Agricultural Fair will be held on Sunday September 2 from 10am-4pm. This is a great family friendly activity for over Labor day weekend. Come celebrate agricultural, fishing, and farming on Cape Cod!
Harvest Market
The Harvest Market tables offer a wide variety of the fresh, local goods available. All farmers and harvesters aim not only to sell directly to the fairgoer, but to offer knowledge & expertise as well. Come buy fantastic food just harvested from the land or sea – and learn how you can help sustain our community’s health and environment!
Information Booths
Learn about local agriculture, aquaculture, fishing, and farming and how you can help sustain our local bounty.
Contests
Win ribbons for your barnyard beauties, the longest cucumber or heaviest tomato, the tastiest pies, and more… even hourly pie-eating contests!
Live Music
Fiddlers and bluegrass all day long
Kids’ Fun
Pony rides, crafts tables, hula-hooping, three-legged races, burlap sack races, face painting… and don’t forget those pie-eating contests!
The Long Table & Bake Sale
A selection from local gardeners and bakers… either bring your home-grown goods to sell yourself at the Gardeners’ Long Table, or donate home-baked goods to the Bakers’ Table to support the fair.
